This platform fee ensures that we are able to continue doing so sustainably, allowing us to keep making your learning journey our top priority.
How will the US$8.99 platform fee be used?
The fee will go towards covering the cost of operations for platform maintenance and reinvested towards enhancement and improvements.
- 2/3 of the platform fee will be used for class video storage , hosted on Google Cloud. This is so that you can continue to rewatch the videos multiple times, whenever you need to revise what you have learnt. Each class video could easily reach up to 5GB/video. This is an important feature that we cannot negate as it is most beneficial for learners.
- 1/3 of the fee will also be used to maintain, develop and enhance features that you are currently using for your language learning. Our goal is for you to only use uBitto platform as your journey tracker, with what you have learnt, your progress, assignments you have submitted, feedbacks you've received, all stored and organised systematically in one place.
